Dogs are not always respected like they should be many of the times. They do have feelings and a lot of the times people tend to forget about them.

Respect is the thing you have for someone great, coule be the president,Lebron James or even your dad for that matter. Your respect is needed by your dog if you are expected them to do the same for you.

Respect does a lot for someone througout the time. You are able to have a better relationship with your dog which leads many doorways to things such as dog training and controlling your dog when you want to. If they respect you then this will be easy but if they do not then you will be in trouble if an event ever occurs where you will need to stop your dog from something.

Teaching your dog and doing all the regular basic things are one this but an important thing that you rarely ever concentrate on it. Most people do develop this over time with there dog so it is not something that should be dreaded over. Yet it is important when it comes down to it in the end.

How to train dogs-The easy way

Dog training method

Do not underestimate your pets. It only gets harder if you make it difficult

Dog training should be a fun experience for anyone that chooses to do it him or herself or if you are trying to become a professional at dog training. Dogs many of the times can be uncooperative or hard to train but that can be solved if you know how to do it. What you have to do is be soothing and calm instead of being mean or very frustrated. That is one of the way that you can make the best of your dog training.

You can easily frustrate when confronted with a dog that is very lethargic or slow at learning what you are teaching him or her. You may wonder how do I train dogs that are like that; well you can tackle this in a variety of ways. One way that seems the most helpful to me is see how the dog will react to different emotions of mine. What you want is an emotion that gets the dog to understand you instead of getting sad or mad. If you decide to scream at your dog every time it does something wrong your dog will never really learn anything. What would probably happen is you getting ignored by your dog which will probably get you frustrated even more.

Be gentle and tell your dog in a stern voice if he or she did anything wrong. That is how to train dogs not by being loud or using force which is usually what happens in the end. You need to have a lot of patience and understand that you are like teaching a baby not a dog because this dog probably has that IQ of a baby.

Whether they are listening or not, you still need to get their attention

Many times you may be stuck with a dog that doesn’t listen to you especially when you want it to come to you or something similar to that. Keeping your dog on a leash all the time can be irritating for the dog and annoying to you. So teaching your dog to come to you can be very useful in many situations.

You can use this skill in a variety of ways, many of them in dangerous situations like when your dog decides to walk onto the road. Telling it to come to you will prevent many accidents like these.

Do not mistaken this with your dog coming to you whenever you call there name, this way you sound more happy and you are asking the dog to come to you. The way you are going to be taught is a command that your dog will fallow so there is no hesitation or anything else that may hurt or kill your dog.

Things to do beforehand:

Training your dog can may take a while for this command, so make sure you have enough time. Also it will take a lot of dog treats so make sure you have to as well(hopefully healthy ones!).

Dog training Steps:

1)Call your dogs name, and make sure it comes to you. While you are doing this make sure whatever you are saying when you call the dog is clear. I would say thing like “come” or “her, buddy” of course your dogs name always work as well.

2)Use your treats to constantly get the dog back and forth with you or more then one person. If it is two people, all you need to do is have both have a bag of treats and just offer it to the dog one by one. This will give your dog a great exercise too!

3)Keep doing this for about 10 minutes and make sure you give some complements to your dog to tell it that it is doing the right thing. This will ensure a faster learning process for your dog.

Getting to know how to train your dog can be hard because dogs are like humans and they will not automatically know this. Be gentle and careful when you are training your dog.

Puppy housebreaking-Ring the bell!

housebreaking dogs and puppy

Regardless of the age of your dogs, it can never be too late to start the training.

If you ever have a bell somewhere around your house you may want to try this kind of housebreaking technique for your dog. It is strait-forward and really easy to do, but it has some things that you may want to be aware of.

The good:This method by far is the easiest method for your dog to do, it requires very little time and all you need is a bell that can be rung by your puppy. Some string and a door and that is just about all you will need for this housebreaking thing.

The Bad: Depending on the bell sometimes you may not hear the ring, it is only good when you are at home and close to your dog for the most part. Another thing is that the bell will ring every time that part is touched so you may have some flase alarms which is never good when you are trying to housebreak your puppy.

Conclusion: All in all this is a method for people with maybe a one floor house or apartment and can spare  a bell to tie onto their front door.

Training:What you should do now is whenever you see your puppy urinating somewhere that you do not want it to all you have to do is say “NO!”(In a stern but normal voice) then take it to the door and use your puppies paw to ring the bell.put the bell somewhere where the dog can reach it without your help, such as around the door knob that extends to a point that your puppy can reach it.

After you do that go outside with the dog and let it finish his or her business and take it back inside.

Do this for about 2-4 days and your dog should be all set and ready to go, of course you have to do this everyday and every time to get this to work.

The results:You should hear the bell ringing which means that you will need to open the door and let your dog out, which is what you will need to do.

Responsibility and dog training

dog responsibility picture

You should always put the best effort and high sense of responsibility

Dog Training and Responsibility comes hand and hand and most dog owners should understand that. To train your dog you have to be responsible for your dog, the day you took your dog in that was the day that you promised to take care of your dog.

Here are some examples of when you should be responsible.

1) When your dog may need to urinate or do its business you should take time out of your life to do that instead of ignoring it.
2) Your dog needs to be cared for almost daily, take a 10-20 minutes everyday to brush your dog so that their coat remains nice and shiny.
3) Most dogs need exercise and many of the times they cannot do it by themselves, spend some time just have fun with your dog. Whether it is playing a simple game of tag or fetch either way your dog is getting some exercise in.

Responsibility goes a long way with your dog, if you show your dog all this love they will one day show that same love back to you.

Good luck with your dog training!

Houssbreaking Strategies-The Newspaper Method

dog training newspaper

All you need is newspaper to try out this housebreaking method.

Puppy Housebreaking Strategy!

One of the most convenient ways to keep your house and your yard in good condition is to use newspapers or any other cloth type thing to use.

How is this good?
Most dog owners do not want them to have their dogs urinate on their yard because the urine makes your grass yellow. Now you have all these yellow spots all over your front and back yard leading to a bad overall looking house. Another thing is that it is safer, their is no cars or ticks that may be outside. To sum it all up, housebreaking your dog to pee on a newspaper is a lot easier, and safer even if it may not be the safest.

Implementing This Method!

This housebreaking for your dog is very simple to do and can be done in a matters of days. Of course not all dogs are able to do this in a matter of days, it should take at most 2 weeks. If you do not see results in 2 weeks then you are doing something wrong so make sure you are housebreaking your dog right and try it again.

Steps to housebreaking your dog with newspapers:

1: Keep a couple layers of newspaper near your kitchen or anyplace that you tile floors at.

2: When your puppy starts to urinate and you are able to catch this, say NO! in a stern voice and then bring the puppy to the newspaper you put out in step 1.
3: Keep doing this consistently, not just once or twice and let it go, if you do that then this housebreaking method will have no effect whatsoever.

Around the 5th time you do this you should start to see some independent actions, like your puppy is starting to understand you. This puppy housebreaking strategy involves heavily on you being consistent in till your dog knows what to do.

Another effective method to housebreak your dog is using “Ring the Bell” method. Be sure to follow closely the development and choose which strategy to use that is most suitable for your type of dogs.
